Southwest - Huron Islands - Fall 2000

A fatality was reported on the wreck of the Southwest at Lake Superior's Huron Islands in the Fall of 2000. The wreck lies in 110 ft. of water. The diver was an older male who experienced a heart attack while diving the wreck. He realized during the dive that something was wrong and ascended. He reportedly expired before medical help could be obtained.
