Supposedly,the Griffin had a swivel gun.It may have had a bell.The cargo was fur,so the chances of that being intact is between slim and none.I've heard or read that the vessel itself was made of green pine.One would think the timbers wouldn't last that long.Remember,most of the wooden wrecks out there were oak,and heavily soaked with linseed oil and painted often.This gives a distinct advantage over untreated wood.I tend to doubt the Griffin had any coatings,as it was rather hastily developed and deployed.But who knows?
